Who we are

Davis Brothers Developments is a small family business in Kent that buys land with potential for new homes. Contact us at info@davisbrothers.co.uk or call us. [BUSINESS ADDRESS]. [ICO registration number, once registered]

What information we use

• Property and owner details: the address of land or property that may suit a small number of new homes, which we find using public records such as HM Land Registry and council planning information.
• Letter scans: if you scan the QR code on one of our letters, we record the letter reference and the date and time. We don't use cookies or record anything else about you or your device.
• What you tell us: your name, phone number, email, the address of the land and any message, if you contact us or use our form.

Why we use it

To write to owners about possibly buying their land, to know who has shown interest so we can follow up, and to reply when you get in touch. We rely on our legitimate interest in running our business, and we keep what we do proportionate.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We use trusted services to run our website, forms and records (for example Netlify for the website and Trello for our records). If you decide to go ahead, we'll share relevant details with the professionals involved, such as planning consultants, solicitors and our funding partner, and we'll tell you first.

How long we keep it

If we don't hear from you, we keep your address for up to [24 months] so we can send occasional follow-ups, then delete it. If you ask us not to write again, we stop straight away and keep only a note of your address so you aren't contacted again by mistake.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Just email or call us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
